Types of Communication (कम्युनिकेशन के प्रकार):-

जिस प्रकार सड़क पर वन वे, टू वे होता है | ठीक उसी प्रकार कम्युनिकेशन चैनल के मोड होते हैं| कम्युनिकेशन चैनल तीन प्रकार के होते है सिम्पलेक्स (Simplex), अर्द्ध ड्यूप्लेक्स (Half Duplex) और पूर्ण ड्यूप्लेक्स (Full Duplex)|

सिम्पलेक्स (Simplex):-

इस अवस्था में डाटा का संचरण सदैव एक ही दिशा में होता हैं| अर्थात हम अपनी सूचनाओ को केवल भेज सकते है प्राप्त नहीं कर सकते सिम्पलेक्स कम्युनिकेशन कहलाता हैं |

उदाहरणार्थ- कीबोर्ड, कीबोर्ड से हम केवल सूचनाये भेज सकते है प्राप्त नहीं कर सकते |

अर्द्ध ड्यूप्लेक्स (Half Duplex):-

इस अवस्था में डाटा का संचरण दोनों दिशाओ में होता है लेकिन एक समय में एक ही दिशा में संचरण होता है| यह अवस्था वैकल्पिक द्वि-मार्गी (Two way alternative) भी कहलाती है| अर्थात् इस अवस्था में हम अपनी सूचनाओ को एक ही समय में या तो भेज सकते है या प्राप्त कर सकते है| उदाहरणार्थ- हार्डडिस्क (Hard disk), हार्डडिस्क से डाटा का आदान प्रदान अर्द्ध ड्यूप्लेक्स (Half Duplex) अवस्था में होता है| जब हार्डडिस्क पर डाटा संगृहीत (Save) किया जाता है तो उस समय डाटा को हार्डडिस्क से पढ़ा नहीं जा सकता है और जब हार्डडिस्क से डाटा को पढ़ा जाता है तो उस समय हम डाटा को संगृहीत (Save) नहीं कर सकते |

 पूर्ण ड्यूप्लेक्स (Full Duplex):-इस अवस्था में डाटा का संचरण एक समय में दोनों दिशाओं में संभव होता है हम एक ही समय में दोनों दिशाओ में सूचनाओं का संचरण कर सकते है | अर्थात हम एक ही समय में सूचनाएं भेज भी सकते है और प्राप्त भी कर सकते है पूर्ण ड्यूप्लेक्स (Full Duplex) कहलाता हैं |

Difference between Simplex, Half duplex and Full Duplex Transmission Modes

There are three modes of transmission simplex, half duplex, and full duplex. Transmission mode describes the direction, of flow of signal between two connected devices. The main difference between simplex, half duplex, and full duplex is that in a simplex mode of transmission the communication is unidirectional whereas, in the half-duplex mode of transmission the communication is two directional but the channel is alternately used by the both the connected device. On the other hand, in the full duplex mode of transmission, the communication is bi-directional, and the channel is used by both the connected device simultaneously.
